Description The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing procurement process, on-going supplier management, and continuous improvement activities related to the procurement of goods and services for Fervo Energy. The job will consist of prequalification and onboarding of new suppliers, developing RFQs/RFPs, negotiating commercial terms, issuing orders for goods and services, managing change requests, and completing procurement closeout activities. A successful candidate should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented and proactively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project delivery timelines. This position will report to the Procurement Contracts Manager.
Responsibilities Development of bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis, negotiation, and commitment of purchase orders
Develop, issue, and manage RFPs, RFQ, RFIs. Manages the entire process for all sourcing initiatives: from development of RFP to award and execution of Purchase Order
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish a clear definition of requirements and scope of work for sourcing projects
Prepare and organizes bid clarification meetings, pre-award meeting and post-award meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Manage the onboarding process for suppliers including gathering relevant documents (MSA, NDA, W9, COI, HSE Documents, etc.)
Control and monitor the change order process for suppliers across the organization, including negotiation and tracking
Work closely with Procurement Contracts Manager in developing processes and procedures for procurement and sourcing initiatives
Build relationships with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable and other functional teams to assist in procurement of goods and services
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or Business related field
0-3 years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience
Knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
Experience conducting RFQs, RFPs and Issuing Purchase Orders
Mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Excellent networking and communications skills, complemented by the ability to develop and sustain strategic relationships
Highly effective presentation capabilities
Strong analytical and organizational skills, particularly time management
Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage tasks in a timely manner
