Our client seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing team! This is a new role that will oversee the daily accounting within the organization’s newest acquisition. With excellent employee benefits and room for growth, this role is best suited for a passionate accounting professional who feels inspired to lead and make a difference in their team while working alongside a tenured Controller.

Perform month-end accounting/general ledger account reconciliations.

Prepare daily cash reports to assist in cash flow projections.

Financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.

Daily/monthly bank reconciliations.

Fixed assets.

Capital expenditure.

Track expenses and analyze month-over-month variances.

Monthly cost accruals.

Prepare payroll journal entries twice a month from reports provided by HR.

Help coordinate accounting systems and internal controls.

Assist with year-end audit requests and documentation gathering.

Prepare monthly sales/use/excise tax reports.

Prepare annual 1099s for reporting.

Maintain/monitor prepaid insurance.

Accounting Manager Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

4+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience including month-end processes and analysis/reporting of the 3 major financial statements.

Manufacturing or wholesale-related industry experience required.

Strong knowledge of fixed assets, accruals, and cash forecasting required.

Proficient with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
