Our client, EZ Shipping Racks has an opening for an Account Manager! While this is a remote position, this person must reside in the Portland Metro area.
Role Description: Account Manager
As an Account Manager you will play a pivotal role in expanding our existing customer base with our EZRack service offering. Your responsibilities will include leading EZRack’s customer success, retention, and growth for our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of managed accounts, building relationships, mitigating churn, and driving growth to take EZRack to the next level. Primary Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and expand customer relationships utilizing the objective framework of right clients / right terms with mutual accountability, deeply understand their characteristics, products, and customer segments.
Proactively manage account daily operations to improve the customer experience by:
Manage cross functional resources to ensure all customer questions and concerns are resolved timely.
Articulate all relevant information to the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure account comprehension is known
Monitor KPIs and communicate impacts of the data to inform and update.
Own customer training for all accounts. This includes but not limited to:
Training on assembly of the EZRack
Inventory management of EZRack
Ensuring proficiency of the software platform
Building comprehension of contract terms throughout an account
Identify growth opportunities within managed accounts, generate demand, and provide creative solutions/services to drive growth.
Continually contribute to optimize the company’s account management process.
Lead yearly contract management process - including negotiations distribution, execution, and enforcement of contracts.
Analyze and monitor the competitive landscape, staying current on industry trends to ensure EZRack remains competitive with service offerings.
Initiate cross-functional projects to enhance synergy among different departments, fostering a collaborative organizational culture.
Execute regular assessments of the account in the form of onsite visitations, QBRs and other assessments on an as needed basis.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
3+ years of Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, or similar customer facing roles
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills via phone, email, teams, in person.
Experience in logistics, transportation, and/or reusable packaging.
Knowledge of HubSpot, DocuSign, Freight TMS, ERP systems, Microsoft suite including BI and/or Asset Tracking Applications
Experience in contract and pricing negotiations.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
