**JR117375 Director I Carelon Account Management**
The Director I Carelon Account Management is responsible for directing account management retention activities for Carelon within an assigned book of business.
**Location:** This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and must live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point office locations.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure book of business meets profitability standards.
+ Develops strategies to achieve assigned retention and upsell goals.
+ Provide input to product development teams to develop new products and deliver them to the market constituents.
+ Collaborate with Functional Leads and matrix partners in support of meeting all performance guarantees.
+ Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
+ Develops and motivates staff to achieve goals.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:**
+ Strong experience in managed care and behavioral health is highly desirable.
+ Proficient in executing superior leadership strategies and remarkable management techniques.
