Self- Clearing Broker Dealer is looking for an Information Technology Manager to join our team. This position will be based out of our Downtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities Reports to the Chief Executive Officer
Must have Broker Dealer experience.
Set up direct Client system infrastructure connectivity to access various APIs
Regularly analyze all technical systems, such as disaster recovery, network architecture, governance framework, and business continuity, to ensure top-quality customer experience.
Optimize client networks by configuring their Active Directory, file servers, site-to-site and client VPNs, and troubleshoot infrastructure, as well as removing obsolete hardware.
Manage all existing user data to Office 365, centralized group policies and public folders
Manage all Firm systems to establish best-in-class security standards
Negotiate all current/future contract terms and maintenance fees for Firm systems
Manage LAN and WAN infrastructure
Perform Tier II troubleshooting and supported all remote home offices connectivity for Firm employees
Act as the vendor point-of-contact for all in-house financial services, which include SS&C trading platform, Bloomberg, FIS Loanet, DTCC Inteliclear back-office system and Mediant Proxy Services.
Responsible for strategic, tactical and operational technology-related initiatives across the product portfolio, including data science, risk analytics and optimization, application development, architecture, security, quality assurance, user experience, hosting/cloud services, and internal MIS functions.
