Data Analyst

The Vancouver Housing Authority IT division is looking for a full-time Data Analyst to join the team. The position works with end users, departments, and other IT staff to identify business process requirements and improve processes within the IT systems. The Responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying SQL based queries, reports, and letters. Works to integrate application and database systems using established practices and/or new approaches and techniques. Must be able to develop, design, and administer databases and data sets; determine requirements; track and report statistics; coordinate exchange of data with other agencies; and oversee the integration and migration of data between the database driven systems.
The ideal candidate has current knowledge of best practices and developing industry trends and innovation. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows Servicer Operating Systems, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure environment. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Online Exchange, Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure File services, and SharePoint. Familiarity with multiple systems and techniques. This position is not a remote opportunity and works 100% in-person on-site.
Pay and Benefits The starting salary range of $68,024 - $78,227 per year based on experience. In compliance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, the full salary range for this position is $68,024 - $104,756 per year.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer related technology, computer science, MIS, or related subject; OR at least 5 years of recent experience in an equivalent capacity.
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated directly related work experience. Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop; Exchange Online, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure Files Service; Azure Active Directory, Windows Service management. Knowledge should be transferable across platforms.
Experience with vulnerability management, patch management, and security analyst.
Experience administering local and cloud-based computer hardware and telecommunications functions strongly preferred.
