**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct outbound prospecting for "net new" business-to-business (B2B) entities
* Identify and qualify prospects with respect to budget, authority, need, and timing
* Represent the company at association and industry events as assigned
* Develop business and social relationships with key decision-makers
* Provide oral and written presentations to potential customers outlining the equipment and services proposed by LVC in person and through webinars
* Prepare detailed proposals for all systems and services to be sold and assist in the preparation of contracts
* Negotiate and close contracts presented to potential customers
* Promptly and adequately document activities in SalesForce CRM
* Update CRM/pipeline with accurate and timely information with respect to a qualified lead
* Provide weekly/monthly territory or vertical progress reports, accurate business forecasts
* Collaborate with internal teams to promote the complete product line and services of LVC
**Qualifications:**
* Must be technically savvy and can design and demonstrate the value of integrated solutions with an emphasis on recurring revenue services to fit customers' needs
* Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently
* Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to apply tact, diplomacy, reason, logic, and work with diverse groups
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups
* Ability to write proposals, business plans, and general correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and the general public
* Ability to read and comprehend blueprints (floor plans, riser diagrams) and a variety of information provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly learn internal software (CRM) and other sales tools
* Possess a valid state driver's license, proper automobile registration, and proof of insurance for personal automobile liability
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in management, marketing, or sales preferred
* Four years of security industry experience preferred
* Managed security services sales experience preferred
