Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations to oversee and optimize the operational functions of our aesthetics business. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management abilities, expertise in inventory regulation, and a proven track record of leading teams to drive efficiencies while optimizing cost controls. This role will be pivotal in supporting and triaging studio support requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring seamless operations across all locations. Additionally, the Director of Operations will play a key role in facilitating new studio openings, ensuring they are executed on time, on brand, and with fully trained team members. Collaboration with the Senior Director of Training & Communication will be essential in launching field programs and creating content to drive continuous process improvements.
The Director, Operations will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will play a key role in shaping the operational strategy and direction of the business.
The position is remote or can be based in our Atlanta, GA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Lead and manage various projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely execution and delivery of results.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Inventory Regulation:
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage.
Develop and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Regularly review inventory metrics and implement strategies to improve turnover and reduce carrying costs.
Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to a team of operators, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional development.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and cohesion among different operational teams.
Studio Support and Triage:
Act as the primary point of contact for studio support requests, ensuring timely resolution within established SLAs.
Implement efficient triaging processes to prioritize and escalate support issues as needed, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
New Studio Openings:
Lead the planning and execution of new studio openings, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional outcomes.
Develop standardized processes and protocols for new studio launches to ensure consistency and brand compliance.
Oversee in partnership with the Sr Director of Training & Communication the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver exceptional service from day one.
Partnership and Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Training & Communication to launch field programs and create content that drives process improvements and operational excellence.
Provide insights and feedback to inform the development of training materials and communication strategies.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business objectives and drive collective success.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Proven experience in a senior operational role with a strong focus on project management, inventory regulation, and team leadership.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing inventory management systems and procedures.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of driving continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
