Title: Enterprise Architect - Data Strategy
Job Summary:
The Enterprise Architect - Data Strategy leads the design and implementation of the organization's enterprise-wide technology infrastructure.
Aligns technology strategy with business objectives, overseeing architecture development, and ensuring the integration of new technologies into the existing IT landscape.
Collaborates closely with stakeholders to define and implement data strategies that support analytical and reporting needs.
Job Description:
Catalogs, develops, and maintains enterprise architecture models, initiatives, and standard components.
Creates comprehensive EA blueprints, develop roadmaps for technology transitions, and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.
This role requires leadership in architecture governance, risk management, and technology evaluation, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance of IT systems.
Defines and implements a data strategy and roadmap working closely with business domains.
Defines policies and establishes standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing, and formatting data.
Works with business and IT leadership to define and document the data architecture for enterprise data assets.
Develops conceptual, logical, and physical data models with associated metadata including data lineage and technical data definitions.
Provides direction and guidance in the implementation of data warehouses, marts, cubes, lakes and universes to support analytic and reporting needs
Leads efforts to implement a reference data and master data management strategy in close collaboration with Data & Performance team.
Designs and develops end to end robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and data platform architecture.
Launches and supports new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal customers
Prototypes new technologies and implement innovative solutions to enable teams to consume and understand data faster.
Skills / Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar (Master's degree preferred)
Extensive experience in IT architecture design, implementation, and management
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
Strong understanding of business processes and ability to align technology solutions with business strategies
Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives
Experience with cloud-based architectures and integration technologies (e.g., AWS)
5+ years of working as an Enterprise Architect and minimum of 10 years working in IT and technology role.
Ability to architect and build an end to end data platforms with hands-on experience in enterprise-scale data warehousing, data architecture, and/or data engineering environments.
Experience of designing, implementing, and building pipelines (ETL) that deliver data with measurable quality under the SLA.
Must have knowledge of database technologies (HANA, Snowflake, Oracle, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Hive, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc.) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
Knowledge of Data Management, Integration and Data Quality tools spanning No-code, low-code and code-first methodologies, such as: Alteryx, Trifacta, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Cloud, Databricks etc.
Knowledge of Master Data Governance / Management technologies (e.g SAP MDG, Reltio)
Experience of real-time/near real-time/event driven microservices solutions and Database Migration and replication services such as AWS DMS, Qlik replicate.
Strong understanding of core infrastructure components (servers, network, storage).
Experience with Enterprise Data Governance, Big Data Solutions, Master data management, Data Privacy and Security, Machine Learning, and Data Pipeline Operations.
Experience with building analytic solutions applicable to Sales, Finance, Product, Supply Chain and Marketing organizations in an enterprise.
Experience implementing operational best practices such as monitoring, alerting, metadata management.
Experience managing, measuring, improving data quality in a data warehouse.
Skills / Qualifications Desired:
Experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and data engineering environments
