A brand new freestanding Rehabilitation Hospital is opening in southeast Texas and is in need of a Medical Director! The hospital will provide high-quality care that transforms the lives of those living with disabling injuries and illnesses through the care of rehabilitation. The operating national provider of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation distinguishes themselves through commitment to excellence, to patient care, to their employees, and to the communities they serve.
The Medical Director will oversee all operations relating to patient care inside the hospital. This includes managing nursing and therapy personnel, as well as working with administration to improve clinical outcomes. We are seeking a physician interested in taking on a leadership role as Medical Director while maintaining a passion for patient care.
Qualifications :
Current unrestricted medical license(s) as a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Demonstrated knowledge in current practice standards in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Completion of a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency
Duties:
Medical and Physical Management of all patients in the hospital
Play a key role in optimizing clinical care at the hospital
Partner with administration to improve outcomes and service to patients in the area
Establish relationships with other specialists in the region to promote the benefits of inpatient rehabilitation
