We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Clinic Operations. Will lead, manage and hold accountable those leaders functioning in clinical operations functions, including Practice Management, Process Engineering, Technology Services and Supply Chains that lead to patient and client satisfaction. Will serve as a liaison between both business and medical functions by providing operational support to team members while also analyzing currentand future processes for key operational areas. With multiple clinics located across several states, this is a dynamic position that will collaborate with Practice Managers and offer great diversity in scope to include both clinical and business operations. Bachelor's Degree and five or more years' healthcare management experience is required. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Competitive compensation and benefits included.
Requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Planning and executing departmental budgets.
Overseeing inventory needs and undertaking office management and administration.
Coming up with effective strategies to enhance the organization's financial health.
Recruiting quality employees to provide high-quality customer support.
Motivating and supervising employees.
Evaluating the performance of your assigned employees, delivering positive and/or negative feedback, and addressing any shortcomings.
Research methods to improve operations and reduce costs
Monitor and report on department performance
Supervise and train employees
Provide administrative support (e.g. updating inventory)
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulation
Duties/Responsibilities: Collaborate with Practice Managers to oversee practice management functions, including clinic operations, implementation & training, and scheduling.
Creates connection between operations and medical leadership team to assist with communication, process improvement and creation and policy development.
Works to be the communication conduit between Medical and Business Operations to drive for optimal clinic performance.
Works with leadership to understand functional goals and recommend resulting improvements based on research of current' processes, roles, and position descriptions.
Masters understanding and use of HBD's technology services, including its EMR system, Electronic Document Services, and Telehealth, to create efficiencies and identify opportunities to better use systems across the organization's service offerings.
Directs the flow of goods, services, and processes to maximize client and patient value to gain a competitive advantage.
Directs the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity which includes establishing good relationships with vendors.
Participant and contributor to the HBD Strategic Management Process including insight generation of emerging healthcare trends and business strategy development.
Lead and/or participate in quarterly strategic initiatives.
Assist the strategic account management team in support of ongoing business client service efforts as needed
Required Skills/Abilities: Leadership skills: keeping team members motivated, able to resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions for team members.
Excellent time management skills that will equip you to work with multiple departments and teams and meet deadlines occurring simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to communicate in the most effective way to allow you to work with multiple team members that are passionate about their areas.
Analytical skills are essential to analyze data and make recommendations that affect patient care
Solid healthcare background and experience,
Must work well with others as a strong influencer.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to build cohesive teams.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Five or more years' management in healthcare combined with education
Physical Requirements: The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The team member may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
