We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Director of Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. They will also oversee all aspects of our operations, including procurement, supply chain, and dealer relationship management. This role is also responsible for providing sales and marketing support, demonstrating leadership skills, and having a strong background in commercial construction. If you are a seasoned professional with a strategic mindset, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans that meet business goals and objectives created in partnership with senior management.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
Foster an environment of teamwork and ensure that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
Manage relationships with key operations vendors, dealers, and partners.
Oversee procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures in place to meet our financial targets and operate efficiently.
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to understand and support sales targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Outstanding communication and people skills.
In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
Familiarity with MS Office and various business software.
BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
A proven track record of managing complex projects with a proactive attitude.
Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines.
Proven experience in strategic planning and business development.
Experience in sales and customer service is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
