Sr. Director of Analytics

Gallo Mechanical is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Director of Analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building out the analytics infrastructure, interpreting and analyzing complex datasets and processes to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The Sr. Director of Analytics will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization. This position will report to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Processing:
Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Clean and preprocess raw data to prepare it for analysis.
Analysis and Interpretation:
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
Interpret and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and reports.
Reporting:
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal teams and management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Data Modeling:
Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics efforts.
Implement statistical models to forecast trends and predict future outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, and operations, to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of data analysis processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sr. Director of Analytics or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in leading and mentoring small data teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
