Junior Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a personable and highly motivated Junior Worker’s Compensation Attorney to join its team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 150 cases, working closely with a team of Legal Assistants, and handling various aspects of worker’s compensation litigation. This position requires a strong drive to succeed, excellent critical thinking, persuasive speaking and writing skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
Manage approximately 150 worker’s compensation cases.
Write demands and negotiate claims.
Respond to discovery requests.
Make court appearances.
Perform legal research and analysis.
Collaborate with Legal Assistants to gather necessary information for cases.
Maintain a commitment to jury trials and appeals.
Utilize advanced technology skills in a paperless environment.
Provide top-quality legal writing.
Requirements:
0-3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent persuasive speaking and writing skills.
Professional and highly motivated demeanor.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Commitment to jury trials and appeals.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar of the state in which practicing and in good standing with the Bar association.
