About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP to lead its health content arm, which provides authoritative answers to vital health questions and is integral to the company's mission of making healthcare more convenient and affordable for all Americans. The successful candidate will be responsible for the robust P&L of the health business, driving revenue growth through advertising and partnerships, and expanding the impact of the health content on the platform. This role requires a dynamic leader with over 10 years of experience in the digital media space, preferably in health publishing, and a proven track record of strategic innovation, audience growth, and P&L management. The VP will also lead a cross-functional team, including editorial, video, content production, newsletters, and ad operations, and will work closely with product, marketing, SEO, and other teams to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.Candidates for the VP role should have a college degree (an MBA is a plus) and deep expertise in the healthcare domain, particularly in pharmacy and brand/generic drugs. The ideal candidate will have insight into the end-user experience and a strong ability to represent their best interests in a digital product. Skills and qualifications include the ability to make clear business tradeoffs, experience in go-to-market strategies, and a strong track record of developing senior leaders and leading large teams. The VP will also be expected to work closely with product, sales, partnerships, and editorial teams, and to represent the health business unit to senior management.
