Description
This Business Systems Analyst role serves as an onsite, in person role in forging a collaborative relationship between IT
and the various departments within Paragon Films by offering technical solutions that align with Paragon's overall
objectives. This is an experienced role that will work to ensure technical problems are resolved, serve as a liaison between
IT and departmental contacts during projects, and deliver training to end users for various types of software programs.
The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring communication between IT and their internal customers
is maintained and will be an integral part of the software developmental efforts necessary for the growth of Paragon.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Establish relationships with internal customers and maintain communication regarding project needs and status,
serving as a resource for solutions and providing top-level customer service to these customers.
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to
existing applications, working with departmental leads to establish the scope of the project by helping understand
the existing needs of the request, working to identify potential solutions, establishing timelines, and serving as
the primary communicator between IT and end users. Collaborates in the creation of mockups, wireframes, and
prototypes.
• Create and maintain process models and diagrams to illustrate current and proposed workflow to reflect changes
and improvements, identify issues, and work through alternative options.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with business requirements and objectives. Plan and
perform various testing activities including functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, and
performance testing.
• Document and track defects found during testing using bug-tracking tools. Works closely with developers to
ensure timely resolution of identified issues while keeping appropriate parties updated.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders and develop and
communicate strategies for successful implementation and adoption throughout the organization.
• Create, maintain, and deliver documentation such as procedures, workflows, and user guides.
• Collaborate on special projects and other directives as assigned by management.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
• Three to five years proven experience as a Business/QA Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role in software
testing and business analysis.
• Proven experience in using, managing, and enhancing Dynamics 365 F&O or SCM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact and effectively relay test results and collaborate
with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret complex business requirements.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to business analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify software defects.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Familiarity with various software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools.
• Occasional travel to remote locations necessitated according to projects.

EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Project Management training or experience.
