System One is looking to hire an IT Business Analyst for an Enterprise-level company in Tulsa, OK. This position supports finance, controlling and tax team members on a domestic and international level (travel requirements less than 5%). The ideal candidate will have 3-7 year's experience in a similar role and will be SAP-savvy. Must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills (written, verbal) and have a strong willingness to learn and grow. A background in customer billing and/or sales and distribution is a huge plus. General Summary The IT Business Analyst will partner with the finance and tax business stakeholders and product owners to understand and identify needs. They will act as a bridge between the business and IT to gather, analyze, and evaluate business requirements and translate them into systems solutions to be implemented. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Own business processes from the IT perspective while being the focal point for internal and external customers to identify business needs.
Perform in-depth evaluation and verification of the capabilities of the tax solutions to define and advise on IT supported enterprise process and system solutions to maximize operation efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate IT solution alternatives for economic and operations feasibility for the finance and tax departments.
Customize and configure processes, develop specifications for IT solutions, implement and test enhancement requests.
Document technical specifications and business processes to ensure standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance tests.
Recommend business process improvements, solve business problems, and create innovative solutions to enable business excellence.
Design global solution concepts and architectures while validating technical and business process feasibility.
Implement and support Global IT solutions, innovating Finance and Controlling journeys by using emerging techniques and technologies and cooperating with different project stakeholders including business, IT, and external partners.
Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or other relevant education, required.
Master’s degree in information technology or computer science, preferred.
Project Management, preferred.
Strong business and IT literacy.
Effective verbal and written communications skills with the ability to translate business requirements into IT language and vice versa.
Broad process and application system know-how, have functional configuration capabilities in the respected area.
Strong skill in requirement engineering which includes defining, analyzing, evaluating, planning, and documenting.
Hands-on mentality to work on and implement solutions on systems like SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on FI, CO and SD.
