My client focuses on engineering design for large-scale data center projects. Their Project Managers lead the entire design team, including architecture, engineering, civil, and environmental disciplines.

Their team of Senior Project Managers partners with clients and team members to execute highly technical, mission-critical projects. This role requires an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys designing projects for some of the largest and most powerful corporations in the world. The Senior Project Manager is the direct point of contact for their clients and is responsible for the successful execution of ground-up data centers.

Your Job Responsibilities:

Represent the company in client communications, from the proposal/negotiations phase through final completion of all services, and follow-up contacts to ensure client satisfaction and future projects.

Identify resources needed for projects and coordinate with the discipline Engineering Managers to determine assignment process and appropriate staffing.

Engage specialty or other discipline resources needed for projects and coordinate support services, including identifying areas needing specialized technical expertise.

Develop a good understanding of the client's organization, key people, and culture to tailor the performance of services.

Create and execute project work plans and schedules using company processes and continuously update or revise as needed to meet changing requirements.

Assist in training and mentoring project management support team, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Your Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of the mission-critical industry and the nuances of renovation and greenfield construction projects.

Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with diverse team members who are geographically dispersed using virtual technology and in-person meetings.

Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect or the determination to become licensed.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from a four-year college or university.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering or Construction Management in the Mission Critical industry.

Availability for occasional travel.

Ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by clients and/or Federal contracts.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $180,000, based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
