As a Project Manager,you will contribute to our company by managing projects from initial planningto completion. This position will be responsible for ensuring thespecifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on scheduleand within budget.
As a member of theProject Management team, you will be responsible for the overall projectplanning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control,while working together with the other project team members. The best candidatewill be experienced in managing ground-up commercial projects, as well asworking with and developing Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, orField Engineers.

HowYou’ll Spend Your Time
· Leadall aspects of the company’s safety culture for assigned projects.
· Supportthe preconstruction team, which may include scope review, bid packagedevelopment, schedule development, and other related tasks for assignedprojects.
· Prepare,monitor, and update the project schedule with the project Superintendent.Manage materials, labor, and procurement logs to ensure schedule is met.
· Provideongoing identification of potential schedule impacts and facilitate mitigationplans for those impacts.
· Managethe subcontract and submittal processes from issuance to execution. Negotiateterms and conditions of contracts and disseminate change requests.
· Provideongoing risk analysis of subcontractors throughout project lifecycle andcross-communicate with other departments.
· Preparemonthly cost and margin forecast with input from Superintendent and review withthe Project Team.
· Leadthe monthly billing process including subcontractor invoice approval and ownerpay application preparation.
· Leadvarious meetings including OAC meetings.
· Leadoverall project closeout process using best practice standards, tools, andprocesses.
· Provideconsistent oversight, developmental guidance, and training for ProjectEngineers while taking accountability for their performance.
You Should Apply if YouAre/Have
· 2-3years project management experience with a general contractor.
· Bachelor’sdegree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred).
· Proficiencyin Procore (or similar), Microsoft Project (or similar), and Microsoft Office.
· Experienceworking with and developing Assistant Project Managers (or similar position).
· Abilityto manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work throughbuilding relationships.
