The Marketing Manager oversees the development and implementation of the agency's marketing and advertising program to promote Valley Metro, its services and its positive impact on the larger region. The Manager will develop marketing strategy; manage the agency brand ; be a service provider to internal and external clients ; execute cost-effective, creative and customer-focused marketing programs and products ; attract and sustain ridership markets; and create a focused, regional message that builds up Valley Metro's reputation and the overall perception of public transportation in the Valley.
The position reports to the Communications & Strategic Initiatives (CSI) Division Director, working in partnership with fellow managers overseeing Communications, Community Relations, Commute Solutions/Transportation Demand Management (TDM) as well as the Division’s Business Manager. Within the Marketing Department, the functional areas include marketing campaign coordination, brand management, graphic and web/digital design, print production and signage distribution.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
5 (five) years of experience directly related to the area of assignment; including two years of supervisory experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties such as those listed above may be considered.
