IT Support Analyst

Soni's client is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Analyst to join their team at a leading litigation boutique in Chicago. As the primary IT resource for the Chicago office, you'll provide exceptional technical support to our team both onsite and remotely. You'll be the first point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and collaborate on larger IT projects.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week onsite in the Chicago office and a flexible schedule to support occasional remote and onsite needs outside of normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and professional IT support to end-users across the firm.
Troubleshoot and resolve user/vendor issues, manage inventory, and assist with ongoing IT projects.
Collaborate with users to diagnose and fix hardware and software problems.
Coordinate daily IT operations like new user setup, AV conference support, office moves, and departures.
Configure workstations, laptops, phones, and standard/non-standard software applications.
Meet deadlines for support tickets and project deliverables.
Develop and maintain firm-wide IT support documentation.
Requirements:
A 4-year degree in a technical field (IT, Computer Science, etc.)
2-3 years of experience in IT Support/Helpdesk
1-2 years of experience working in a law firm (required)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A detail-oriented, organized, and proactive work style
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in a Microsoft environment (M365, O365 apps, Teams, Windows OS/Server, Azure, Defender)
Familiarity with legal industry solutions (NetDocuments, RingCentral, Mimecast, iTimeKeep) is a plus
Bonus Points for:
Foundational IT certifications (A+, Net+, Microsoft)
Experience with Cisco solutions
A willingness to travel to other offices as needed
