Position Summary: This position will assist in leading the organization’s marketing activities and digital initiatives. The role has broad-ranging responsibilities beyond campaign planning and execution, so the successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, direct internal and external resources and manage multiple programs to maximize marketing investment and deliver sales growth.

Essential Job Functions [1] :

Responsible for assigned products and/or suite marketing strategies in partnership with business leadership, product management, and sales teams with the overarching goal of driving net flows.

Develops and manages marketing plans that deliver measurable results for awareness, engagement and leads with targeted audiences.

Reaches new audiences through multi-channel integrated campaigns anchored to compelling content and supported by owned and paid digital tactics including social, eBlast, email, PR, TV, webcast, digital and search advertising, and sponsored/native content placements.

Identifies, tracks, and reports regularly on key performance indicators for specific promotional tactics and overall campaign success.

Provides strategic focus to overall marketing and communications programs to ensure that all business lines are appropriately serviced.

Leverages innovative digital targeting and other technologies and keeps the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

Fosters business relationships throughout the organization to enhance transparency, collaboration, and partnerships.

Understands regulatory guardrails and effectively works with internal and external compliance groups.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree

10+ years marketing experience; significant experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred.

4+ years work experience focused on digital marketing, email campaign management, online advertising, or other analytical online marketing function within a financial services firm.

Experience with ETFs and/or mutual funds strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

An ownership mindset and ability to lead programs from conception to completion.

A willingness to experiment and challenge conventional assumptions

Strategic and analytical point-of-view, capable of making recommendations and data-driven decisions based on market trends, sales performance and market dynamics.

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple projects in varying degrees of implementation.

Creative thinker with ability to develop effective communications concepts.

Excellent written and oral communications and organizational skills, performing effective demonstrations for varied audiences.

An understanding of ETFs and financial professional distribution.

Incredible organization skills and attention to detail.
