The Position:

The Vice President of Marketing oversees all aspects of marketing, sales, and business development at Headfirst Companies and leads a high-performing team at all stages of their professional journeys, from early-career associates to seasoned subject matter experts across each of our four programming divisions: KI Concerts, Headfirst Honor Roll Camps, Headfirst Professional Sports Camps, and Headfirst Summer Camps. The Vice President of Marketing will be looked to as a creative and strategic leader who can apply their extensive experience in developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns and spearheading compelling customer experience initiatives to enhance brand recognition, achieve enrollment targets, and drive revenue growth. This role is a full-time corporate position; the ideal candidate will be able and willing to work primarily in-person from our Washington, D.C. Headfirst Companies HQ offices.

What You'll Do:

Drive organization-wide Marketing, Business Development, and Sales for Headfirst's 4 divisions

Lead divisional marketing managers in development of each division's seasonal marketing plans and creation of the seasonal forecast, ensuring that KPIs are tracked and reported across the organization in a timely manner

Manage team of employees, agencies, and contractors who comprise the Marketing Services organization to deliver functional support to the Headfirst organization covering areas such as Creative, Digital, Paid Advertising, Customer Care, Site Development and more

Create and maintain the annual Marketing Budget, allocating funds across each division and relevant channels/initiatives with the objective of achieving enrollment goals and overall business P&L

Lead the divisional marketing teams in identifying and implementing scalable and efficient customer acquisition programs

Create, and oversee the continual innovation of, loyalty programs that speak to and resonate with our valued customers in order to drive engagement and retention rates across each division

Establish metrics for tracking, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies, and leverage data to evaluate trends and capitalize on shifts in the marketplace

Partner with Operations and Sales to develop programs, campaigns, and collateral that leverage our deep connections with key partner organizations (including but not limited to schools, facilities, professional teams, choirs, bands, and orchestras) and equip them to help promote Headfirst

Develop and maintain a marketing technology strategy that allows Headfirst to capitalize on the latest digital technologies to reach, acquire, and retain our customers in an efficient, measurable way while maintaining a strong sense of personal connection

Identify, develop and maintain a network of partners that can extend our reach into key customer segments across all our divisions

Serve as a key voice in the establishment of Customer Care SLAs, and act as an accountability partner to Operations to ensure ongoing adherence to the agreed-upon SLAs throughout enrollment and programmatic seasons

Develop and maintain the Headfirst Customer Insights program to provide Headfirst with a fundamental understanding of our customer bases including our existing customers as well as key prospective customer segments

Represent and advocate for the perspectives of our customers and key partners in all business matters, serving as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders to allow the entire Headfirst organization to feel a deep connection with our participants, partners, and anyone else that is "touched" by a Headfirst experience

Act as a mentor and leader for the Marketing team and beyond

Take on other responsibilities as assigned

About You:

The Requirements: 10+ Years of Consumer Marketing experience including at least 3 years of in a Leadership role

Experience marketing complex products and services including seasonal markets, fragmented markets, luxury goods, and/or considered purchases

Connection to the mission-driven nature of the work we do, and ability to translate that connection into mission-oriented, high integrity/high impact leadership

Deep knowledge and experience managing and scaling digital marketing programs

Demonstrable success in leading an organization's digital (marketing) transformation

Proven ability to manage and transform a cross-functional team, with specific experience helping younger marketers develop and grow

Direct experience managing customer service operations and partnership sales is viewed favorably

Mix of large and small company experience viewed favorably

Interest in and ability to work primarily in-person from Headfirst's Washington, D.C. offices strongly preferred
