Responsibilities:
Handle personal injury and construction defect cases from inception through resolution.
Manage a docket of litigation files, including drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda, briefs, discovery demands, and responses.
Conduct legal research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes.
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
Formulate legal strategy and manage active litigation docket.
Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, status reports, and other necessary legal documentation.
Communicate with courts, opposing parties, and clients to provide status reports and updates.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants on civil litigation matters.
Appear in court for hearings and trials as necessary.
Work closely with other attorneys and team members on legal matters to ensure comprehensive legal support.
Travel as required for case matters.
Requirements:
JD degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on civil litigation, personal injury, and construction defect defense (candidates with less experience may be considered).
Previous work experience in civil litigation matters focusing on construction and/or personal injury defense.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the Texas State Bar is mandatory.

Ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
