Description As our Regional Vice President (RVP) Partner Development , your primary responsibilities will be to recruit Financial Advisors and to recruit Advisors to join or become a PlanMember Financial Center.
Starting salary is typically between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, with the opportunity to receive variable compensation based on new business generation. Salary is ultimately determined by the scope of the position the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity.
Position Information : The ideal candidate may be located in our eastern or midwestern regions of the U.S. This role will require up to 40% of travel.
Responsibilities We are interested in talking to you if you have the following major duties and responsibilities:
Handles all aspects of Recruiting for prospective Financial Centers in their region
Work with Director of Partner Development to implement & execute new Financial Center game plans
Seminars/Webinars/Luncheons organization & schedule for prospective Financial Centers
Coordinate & Communicate with BDO’s and Recruiting Team Re: Recruiting Activities in their region
Act as 1st in contact and manage Zip Recruiter, Linked IN, Indeed for prospecting & hiring of Advisors for potential Financial Centers
Return recruit calls as appropriate/set phone & in-person meetings & appointments
Be familiar with Term Sheet and Long Form Agreements and the economics that go with them
Be familiar with all aspects of Co-branding between PlanMember and potential Financial Center
Red Files – Know & understand the process & procedures
Coordinate with Recruiting Team Re: Direct Mail and Email Campaigns
Attend relevant weekly internal meetings
Prepare weekly game plans to present to the team on Mondays and present results on Fridays
Research and develop qualified names to add to recruit database
Project Manage recruiting projects, as needed
Read, review and comment on all relevant company literature
Co-Develop and Implement regional master recruiting plan for new Financial Centers in the Northeastern territory
Develop close relationship with recruits to ensure success is mutually beneficial
Develop a strategy to close each potential FC advisor

Prior industry and sales experience is necessary, recruiting experience for a broker/dealer is preferred.
Be totally familiar with the PlanMember proposition and be able to communicate with prospective Advisors about it
Be proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Have a working knowledge of database management (Salesforce)
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications Required:
FINRA LICENSE – SIE
FINRA LICENSE – 6 OR 7 is preferred OR be willing to obtain SIE, Series 6 OR 7 (preferred), within six months of hire.
