Class Description

The purpose of this class is to perform professional work supporting multiple information technology systems including programming, setup, maintenance and implementation.

Minimum Requirements

Associates Degree in Information Technology

AND:

Course work in the following technologies:

Relational Databases including SQL queries

Web Programming including HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS

Class Specific Essential Duties Design, program, test, implement, and document modifications to existing systems in order to enhance processing efficiencies or a required change.

Investigate and resolve application system problems reported by system users.

Follow specifications and procedures for modifications to existing computer systems (developed in-house or third party packages) or development of new systems, in support of user requests.

Work with outside vendors to install or apply updates to third-party software products.

Assist with implementation of new products and technologies.
