Technical Project Manager

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager that will help organize and track custom IT related installation and fulfilment projects from intake to completion for our client.
This is NOT your typical PM role. We are looking for someone with a technical background who understands wireless infrastructure, and network design requirements. If you have a background in low voltage installation, (like Data Center Tech / Installation Engineer) or any construction project management experience, please inquire. Ideal candidate would be a proactive problem solver.

You will work with the Director of Professional Services and Sales team to oversee and manage a variety of projects. This role requires working with the Operations team in executing project plans, improving processes, coordinating and driving day-to-day execution, reporting and communicating to management on status, risks and process changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and excellent communication skills are essential.
The Project Manager role will help to streamline and build efficiency in the whole operation, will help analyze and report issues and make recommendations for improvements.
Position will reside at our client's corporate office, located in Englewood, CO, area.
Responsibilities:
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
Create a schedule and project timeline
Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle
Handle project intake via email and phone
Schedule appointments for initial consults and project review
Have the ability to perform cost analysis on projects
Be able to assist in the creation of statements of work
Help implement new procedures and best practices
Develop systems to build efficiency and organization as it relates to the scope of the project
Work with the team members to configure, maintain and update tasking for all projects
Verify project flow and completion via project management software
Facilitate project process to meet customer goals
Identify project problems and work with Operations Manager to find solutions and to maintain quality control
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Requirements and Preferences
Bachelor's degree in management, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum two years project management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers
Knowledge or experience IT Networking components is a plus
Knowledge and understanding of general construction management (tasking, schedules, cost, etc), customer management, and tech management
Participation on pre-sales calls
Experience or knowledge of complex Statements of Work (SOWs)
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate with colleagues and customers
Ability to excel in a fast paced and challenging environment
Must have good writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
A demonstrated ability to document technical solutions, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Familiarity with and ability to learn various software applications (Google Docs, MS Word, MS Excel, ticketing software, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Experience with mobility solutions is a plus
