Position Summary
Signify Health, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Dallas, TX: Senior Software Engineer to work on the agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade systems leveraging .Net to build Microservices and Angular to build world class front-end experiences. Contribute to the completion of design, development and implementation tasks and recommend and set the Project’s technical direction and vision. Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications. Work with the Product Team in the refinement of user stories that are developer-read, easy to understand and testable. Provide estimates at a User Story level and provide input to work plans and provide third-level support to business users. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Proactively review the Performance and Capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data and message processing. Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code. Package and support deployment of code releases. Perform unit and integration testing before launch. Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and DevOps trade-offs.
This is a hybrid position that requires working in the Dallas, TX office 1 to 2 days per week and allows working remotely other days. Must live within a commutable distance from the Dallas, TX office.
Requirements: Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role. Must also possess the following: at least 5 years of experience with object oriented programming languages (Ex: C#); at least 5 years of experience with relational databases; at least 2 years of experience with front end technologies with Java script frameworks; at least 2 years of experience with test drive development; at least 1 year of experience with Microservice Architecture; and at least 1 year of experience with Devops technologies.
Pay Range: $139464.00/year to $195200.00/year.
