Under the general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist II will ensure the maintenance of applications, web sites, and supporting systems. Install, upgrade, monitor, tune, troubleshoot, and repair application systems for IT Services Division (Division) the Department of Cannabis Control (Department). This position is in the System Engineer domain.

The Department's mission is to develop and implement progressive cannabis policies and license and regulate commercial cannabis activity in a way that best protects public health, safety, the environment, and local communities throughout the State of California.
