Director, Portfolio Strategy & Alliance Management

Overview
Reporting to the VP, Head of Portfolio Strategy, the Director, Portfolio Strategy & Alliance Management will play a critical and highly impactful role in leading Replimune’s external strategic alliance partnerships.
Additionally, this individual will be responsible for management, execution, and facilitation of internal strategic projects.
This is a high visible role, requiring frequent interaction with executives and senior management.
The successful incumbent will be capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with Replimune’s external alliance partners.
This position can be based in our Woburn headquarters or can be remote.
Our Woburn office staff maintains a hybrid schedule working 2+ days per week in the office and the rest remote.
Responsibilities
Manage “external” alliances and relationships with pharmaceutical / biotech company and critical vendors partners
Manage and facilitate key correspondence and communications with alliance and vendor partners
Work with internal cross-functional teams to drive key analysis to inform business case development
Facilitate alignment on alliance objectives/ commitments / metrics / budget
Ensure oversight and delivery of objectives/ commitments / metrics / budget
Monitor the progress of the contractual obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the health of the alliance/partnership
Lead Joint Steering Committees between partner and Replimune leadership and project teams
Facilitate key strategic projects for Replimune in conjunction with Head of Portfolio Strategy and cross-functional teams
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D program teams and leadership, Finance, BD, Clinical Outsourcing, Legal to ensure perspectives are incorporated
Manage “internal” relationships with Replimune program teams, together with portfolio strategy and program management and our leadership teams
Openly, proactively, and clearly communicate across all lines of the partnership including senior leadership
Monitor the progress of the contractual obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the health of the alliance/partnership
Be well versed in industry trends and alliance management best practices
Qualifications
10+ years of overall industry experience in a strategy, alliance / vendor management, business development role
Experience in oncology preferred.
Advanced degree (PhD, MS, MBA) strongly preferred
Track record of driving to results and outcomes with a sense of urgency
Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior leadership and project teams
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly and influence effectively
Demonstrated ability to drive resolution of conflict and exercise diplomacy
Ability and willingness to manage through high degree of complexity and uncertainty
Strong drug discovery and development knowledge and expertise
