Job Summary
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns within multiple channels (Google, Facebook and others). With a proven track record of improving local small business website rankings and traffic. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a marketing role, has excellent communication skills, and can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective local SEO strategies for small business websites, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy.
Conduct regular site audits, track and report on key SEO metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization.
Monitor and analyze site traffic and user behavior to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
Create, Launch, Manage, optimize, and organize PPC campaigns for clients, primarily in Google Ads
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the message and vision of the company are being communicated properly.
Design, build and maintain our social media presence
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
Requirements and Education:
At least 2-5 years of SEO experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
Experience with website analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
Strong understanding of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with an openness to providing and receiving team feedback.
Active team and client communications
Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
Proficiency with major digital marketing channels and social media tools (Google Ad Platform, Meta Business Suite, iContact, SocialPilot, HubSpot, etc). Paid social experience a plus.
Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe)
Experience with WordPress/Elementor.
Experience with managing and optimizing business listings such as Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
Experience in an agency setting, creating custom SEO reports, and face-to-face client reporting is a plus!
