SVP, Quantitative Marketing Research

Our client, a dynamic marketing research consulting firm with an impressive client roster is looking for an SVP of Quantitative Marketing Research to join their organization. This position will partner closely with blue-chip clients across a range of industries and will lead a lean team of quantitative researchers while remaining hands-on with research end-to-end.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an agile team with unique and innovative custom research offerings. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, but open to remote candidates . Base salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $190k-$230k.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
15-25 years’ experience in a primary research capacity within a research supplier or consultancy
Proven expertise across a range of custom quantitative methodologies (i.e., segmentation, branding studies, positioning work, A&Us, tracking research, etc.)
Familiarity with consumer and/or brand research is required
Recent hands-on experience in the research lifecycle: designing proposals, writing questionnaires, programming, analysis, building reports, presenting
Expertise with SPSS required; R, Q, or Python experience nice to have
Applied experience with advanced statistics required including key driver analysis, regression, MaxDiff, discriminant analysis, factor analysis, conjoint, discrete choice, etc.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, while also remaining hands-on with research and client engagement
Experience developing strategic frameworks, uncovering insights, and providing actionable recommendations for clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Advanced degree in research, psychology, statistics, math, or a related field
