The Digital Marketing Team is an integral part of Newell Brands who focuses on acquiring and retaining consumers online across our distribution channels using media strategies and tactical executions to drive growth and success for our iconic portfolio of brands.

As the Associate Manager, Digital Marketing, you will assist the Digital Marketing Manager on Newell’s paid media initiatives for its writing brands by executing and monitoring campaigns, measuring and reporting on campaign performance and success, and continuously seeking new digital capabilities/innovations to drive the growth of Newell’s brand portfolio. This role will also help manage brand-owned social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook and should exhibit a strong working knowledge of social media, including content planning and publishing. Through close partnership with our media agency, cross-functional teams, segment partners, and creative contributors, you will bring our digital media strategy to the next level by looking for new and innovative advertising capabilities and engaging our audience to elevate the experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support in the development and execution of a comprehensive paid marketing strategy through search and social platforms, agency partnerships and Brand/DTC alignment.

Consult and manage A&P budgets with a clear understanding of how digital spends propel the business forward. Track budget pacing for accuracy and opportunities to overdrive.

Provide strategic guidance to overall digital marketing and brand partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams and media agency to flawlessly develop and execute comprehensive media campaigns that align with overall marketing and business objectives

Perform ongoing data analysis to optimize and scale national media and DTC campaigns

Methodically test to learn and identify best performing audiences, creative, promotions, and messaging across different seasons and product categories.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in CTV, Paid Search, and Paid Social, including platform changes and new features

Exhibit a strong working knowledge of social media, including content planning and publishing

Present data-driven results and insights to necessary stakeholders

Help evolve organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis and media planning

Support the day-to-day execution of a brand’s social strategy by managing the brand-owned social channels, social media content planning, creating, and publishing to support several brands

Help develop a social strategy for each writing brand by managing organic social channel objectives, social tone of voice, platform priorities, post cadence, amplification, and key performance indicators and annual benchmarks

Requirements:

BS/BA or University degree in a related field

2-3+ years of digital marketing and/or Ecommerce work experience

Strong data and analytical background

Experience in Paid and Organic social, SEM, CTV, Programmatic Display management

Ability to operate independently given direction and brings ideas and solutions to issues raised

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business, influential amongst peers to drive change

Detail-oriented and operationally focused to drive efficiency.

Demonstrated maturity, problem solving skills, and constructive approach to challenges.

Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and assignments simultaneously.

Experience working in a media agency, consumer packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or Retail strongly preferred
