Job Summary

As an Education Business Development Partner in the Education Division at FranklinCovey, your primary responsibility is to drive business growth and promote FranklinCovey’s educational products and services in a designated territory or market segment.
Essential Job Functions:
Create an on-going business development and brand awareness strategy fora list of target schools utilizing assets and experiences created by education marketing.
Researchtarget school districts, decision makers,andinfluencerstocreate prospecting strategies.
Build outaccounts in Salesforce (CRM) with new leads and contactsto populate touchpoint campaigns.
Utilize a combination ofcalls, emails, social media,marketing,and automated systems tocontactengaged prospects.
Scheduleexploratorymeetingsbetween potentialclients andSales Executiveto move opportunities forward.
Update and clean CRMdatabase
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in Education K-12
1+ years of experience in a sales, marketing, or lead generation role
Bachelor's or advanced degree in education, business administration, marketing, economics, or a directly related field
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and sales automation systems such as Outreach.io
Familiarity with the industry and market dynamics relevant to FranklinCovey solutions is a plus. Understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape helps in identifying growth opportunities.
Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfortability interacting with prospectsviaphone, chat, and othermethods
Energized by continual growth, both professionally and personally
For location-specific information:
California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $55-60k plus up to $7,000 variable pay. Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
