Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating business-focused projects. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, the ability to influence and hold people accountable, and the flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage business-focused projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Facilitate regular project meetings to track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues
Influence and hold team members accountable to deliver project tasks on time
Utilize tools such as Excel, JIRA, and SmartSheet to manage project documentation and reporting
Provide recommendations on best practices and process improvements
Manage cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
Develop and implement operational standards that ensure compliance with both operational and technical requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a business-focused environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
Proficiency in project management tools such as Excel, JIRA, and SmartSheet
Experience with compliance and operational aspects of project management
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in various tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and initiative-taking approach
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Experience in the fintech or dental industry
Familiarity with systems integration and API design
Must be extroverted and comfortable approaching people for updates and influencing them
Should be flexible and not overly rigid in project management methodologies
Ability to think on your feet and make quick, effective decisions
Should have a proven track record of staying in roles for a significant period, demonstrating growth and progression within previous positions
