Product Designer

Redwood City, CA, United States

General What we do

Our mission is to empower building materials suppliers with great technology. There are over $1,000,000,000,000 of building materials bought in the US every year, and many of these transactions happen in on-prem point-of-sale systems. We want to bring these transactions online, enabling better experiences for contractors and homeowners alike.

This Role What you'll achieve with us

You'll work with customers and collaborate with product managers to define the product roadmap.

You'll own translating product requirements into a delightful user experience.

You'll weigh design vs technical tradeoffs with engineering to determine what is built.

Requirements

You enjoy getting to know customers and understanding their needs.

You have a track record of designing beautiful, easy-to-use user interfaces and experiences.

You collaborate well cross-functionally—especially with engineers and product managers.

You are open-minded about accepting and acting on user feedback, as well as giving and receiving feedback internally with the team

You're excited to work in-person at our office in Redwood City. At this early stage, we're all friends and enjoy being together. Even more, we think there's a magic that happens brainstorming around a whiteboard that we've failed to find working remote.

Icing on the cake

You have worked in a fast-paced startup environment.

You are proficient in Figma.

You have familiarity with construction and building materials.
