Product Designer

Your Role:
As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in designing intuitive and visually appealing “big data” enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs, define design requirements, and create elegant and effective user interfaces. Your expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, and visual design will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences and driving customer satisfaction, whether they are first time non-technical users or data scientists.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Partner with product managers to gather requirements and data to understand user needs, pain points, and business objectives.
Define and develop user flows to guide the design process.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate interaction and design concepts.
Collaborate closely with product managers and provide design guidance and support to developers, QA, UX writers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of designs.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs based on user insights.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in user experience design and apply them to enhance the product's usability and visual appeal.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a user-focused mindset
Assist in the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides and design documentation to ensure design consistency and scalability
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related field
Minimum 2 years of product design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating your craft and application of user-centered design process, including discovery, interaction, prototyping and visual design skills
Passion for designing complex workflows, data visualizations and data-centric desktop applications
Experience with marketing technology or complex B2B/Enterprise products a plus+
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and information architecture
Strong visual design skills and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar software
Proactive communicator and excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present complex topics and justify design decision to stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to commit to a hybrid work policy and work 3 days in office 2 days remote weekly in the Mountain View, CA office. Relocation not supported.
Compensation Range
$100,900—$122,100 USD
