Description
The IT Associate shall manage Sharepoint for the Company as well as support the Help Desk. Information Technology Associates are responsible for the support and maintenance of all assigned assets and work tasks. The support and maintenance shall meet the requirements of the company's defined policies, processes, and SLA's. The support and maintenance shall be addressed in a timely manner to comply with internal requirements.
Requirements
Provides technology support remotely and in-person (when required), to include but not limited to: advanced problem diagnosis and error resolution, equipment setup/repair, assisting with network /server troubleshooting/patching, telecom support/troubleshooting.
Manages helpdesk support.
Assists with (or coordinates) the repair of end user hardware and the reinstallation of software as necessary to resolve end user incidents.
Resolves incidents associated with company-standard end user software and hardware, including mobile/hand-held technologies. Identifies sources and trends of technical problems to prevent future occurrences within the prescribed processes and SLAs.
Assists with off-site support for company sponsored functions/meetings.
Analyzes information, identifies key issues and relationships, and draws logical conclusions; identifies the root causes of problems and develops and suggests appropriate solutions.
Provides support for general technology, including but not limited to: Microsoft Desktop Operating System; Network and Telecom connectivity; Microsoft Office; General Computer Troubleshooting Skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft and Apple laptops; SharePoint skills; software as a service Operations. MO365, security controls such as VPN Networks & Azure, as well as remote laptop tools such as GoToAssist.
Supports with Asset management including support, maintenance, tracking, security, and procurement.
Provides Technology Project Support
Develops processes to streamline helpdesk support and asset management.
Supports HR department with employee onboarding and offboarding needs.
Works with all operations departments and project teams to support their technology needs, SharePoint site management, and act as IT SME to develop solutions.
Manages IT budget and projections and review with Supervisor on a monthly basis.
Understand the business and organization sufficiently to anticipate and resolve end user technology issues that affect productivity of employees.
Qualifications Required 1-2 years' work experience in technology services and/or consulting environment
Must be located within 30 miles of the Baltimore, MD area and able to travel for urgent IT issues if needed.
Highly proficient with SharePoint tool and management
Highly proficient with Microsoft office suite
Strong Networking capabilities
Experience with Asset Management tools
Ability to set-up laptop using imaging
Strength in working with vendors and contracts
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service interactions and consistent quality output
Ability to function in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with a capacity to handle multiple objectives and workflows
Excellent organizational and Strong analytical skills

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or commensurate professional experience
