The role
We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to come help build and lead our money systems organization. In this role, you will bring your years of industry experience to lead our money teams:
- Payments
- Ledger
- Collections
- Banking Platform
This is a unique opportunity for individuals who want to join an early stage organization and set the direction for the years to come. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader who sets the product and technical direction, lead architecture design and development, and manage growth and hiring
What you'll do: Provide deep technical experience to the engineering team
Work with your engineering managers and technical leads to build a best-in-class money movement platform
Hire and grow your engineering organization
Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders regarding roadmap and execution
You're a great candidate if you: Have 10+ years of professional software development experience
Have 3+ years managing engineering teams, directly and indirectly via other engineering managers
Have experience building teams from scratch
Have demonstrable experience leading large scale projects, as an individual contributor as well as through a team
Have experience in FinTech or a related domain space
Have deep experience with modern cloud technologies
Thrive in an environment with minimal structure and ambitious problems to solve
Can translate complex business requirements into an iterable technical plan
Have a disciplined approach to software development, testing, and quality
Have experience with high growth startups
