**AECOM** is seeking a **Design Manager (Design Build)** to be based in **Orange, CA.**

Job Responsibilities

+ Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects.

+ Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets.

+ Change and risk management.

+ Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities.

+ Mentors, develops, and hires support staff.

+ Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process.

+ Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals.

+ Builds and maintains relationships with project owners/AHJ's.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree + Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Must possess CA State PE License

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 20+ years of transportation project experience

+ Experience with design build delivery for final design

+ DOT Design Build Project Experience

+ Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects with DOT's on large complex highway projects.

+ Experience with Caltrans, LA Metro, RCTC, and other agencies.

+ Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $170,000.00 - $261,000.00.
