Duties:
Craft and prepare important court filings and supporting documents, including family law pleadings, initial filings, Requests for Orders, ex parte paperwork, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, case law, opinions, briefs, and other pertinent information.
Follow up diligently on correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
Represent clients and their interests vigorously in court.
Provide legal advice and guidance on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, and property division.
Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all legal tasks.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure cohesive case management.
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
Certified Family Law Specialist (preferred).
Proven track record as a Family Law Attorney.
Strong understanding of California family law and court procedures.
