Branch Manager

The purpose of the Branch Manager position is to perpetuate and implement company strategies and policies to increase sales
growth profitability. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing and directing all operations within their designatedgeographic territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure Accounts Receivable amounts are within established standards.
Ensure all corporate policies are adhered to.
Development of individuals for management roles in the future.
Implement and manage execution of national sales strategies.
Ensure account channel alignment consistent with national directives.
Assist in the management of customer relationships.
Monitor productivity within assigned geographic territory for all positions.
Ensure appropriate cost control measures are being adhered to.
Ensure greatest amount of profitability is achieved at a branch level.
Communicate market conditions and information from customers to SMC top management.
Implement and manage budgets and sales plans according to corporate goals and directives.
Attack competition by key product focus within sales personnel deployment.
Review and ensure that the appropriate product mix is attained at customer level per territory.
Monitor SMC’s CRM system to ensure that sales employees are inputting appropriate sales data.
Review daily sales activities and mentor sales staff for improvements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Fast paced environment (includes both office and field work)
Travel with some extended stay away from home
Physically capable of lifting SMC products and displays up to 50 lbs. Varying work hours
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area or equivalent experience
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience either with SMC or in the industry
Thorough knowledge of SMC products
Thorough knowledge of SMC Sales Strategies
