Position Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Privacy & Compliance to join our team.

Ad Tech industry is increasingly focusing on Privacy to give users control over their data and choices on how their data gets collected, retained, and used. PubMatic wants to be at the forefront by paving a way for responsible product innovations that deeply respect user’s privacy as global privacy landscape continues to evolve.

You will take a lead in shaping the global product strategy for privacy & compliance area. You will have a comprehensive grasp on privacy regulations and their implementations in the industry. You will develop a strategic mind-set to leverage digital signals within the boundaries of global regulations. You will drive company-wide transformation to deliver products that respect user’s choices, build out relevant platform capabilities for internet users and PubMatic partners to give them control over their data. You will serve as an industry leader in this highly visible area and be instrumental in driving alignment across the company to evangelize best practices as it relates to privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end product life cycle to drive business outcomes independently.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes, and their impact on the industry and PubMatic.

Keep yourself up to date on privacy implementations across the industry and relevant vendor offerings in the market.

Contribute to industry standards by participating in leading industry forums.

Collaborate with legal, business and executives stake holders to build perspective on evolving privacy landscape with global privacy laws (like GDPR, CCPA, LGBD, etc..) and global privacy standards (like the IAB’s GPP, inclusive of the TCF and MPSA frameworks).

Establish robust privacy-by-design frameworks for PubMatic’s product development lifecycle and data handling processes; work with cross-team stake holders to drive compliance;

Develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.

Use our commitment to privacy and compliance as a differentiator in the marketplace and develop flexible solutions that can quickly adapt to changing privacy landscape.

Develop appropriate compliance tools, processes and frameworks to ensure PubMatic and its partners stay compliant.

Qualifications

3-5 years of solid Product Management experience in cross-functional environment

Experience in Ad Tech domain, preferably in Audience, Data Privacy, Identity or Regulatory compliance areas.

Experience shaping product strategy, building, and managing products from ideation to launch to drive business outcome.

Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across a spectrum of internal and external audiences.

Base Compensation Range: $140,000 - $150,000

In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units and a competitive benefits package.

Return to Office : PubMatic employees throughout the global have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days “in office” and 2 days “working remotely”) that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions.
