Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Accounting Principals has partnered with a construction company near Haltom City, TX looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience with full-cycle accounts payable, construction or Sage 300/Timberline experience.
Job Requirements
Process Subcontractors and Supplier Invoices - Review and process invoices and route for approval Confirm Subcontractor's insurance is up to date and contracts are signed
Schedule invoice for payment Field calls regarding payment status, and escalate as needed, for urgent, past due or problem invoices
Process Check Requests Review for proper backup, approval, coding and vendor set up
Process a check or an ACH whichever is requested
Process Insurance Certificates by verifying requirements needed from customers.
Process Check Runs multiple times a week and ensure any lien releases necessary for subcontractors are processed and returned.
Process Lien Releases for a specific jobs, as needed Work with project director, as needed, for specific vendors and/or forms needed
Research contract information, contact information, and owner information
Send out lien releases and follow up to make sure all are completed and returned.
Reconcile statements on vendor accounts
Various special projects that are needed and requested from Supervisor, CFO and Controller Keep track of leases and rents due; schedule for payment each month; follow up, as needed, for upcoming expirations and for renewals and new leases that arise.
Other general or AP related accounting duties/projects, as assigned
Technical Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Software primarily in Outlook, Excel and Word. Excellent written and oral communication with internal and external customers.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
