Job Description Job Description Position Purpose & Summary

Displays great customer service skills, performs the functions of a pool attendant and maintains the daily Recreation Center, Three Graces and Infinity Pools operations consistent with the goals and directives of the Recreation Manager. Leading staff and supervising the operations of the pool while working closely with a team. Assists with the organization and execution of all pool activity programs: handling various swim activities, pool maintenance, supervision of aquatic facilities, and promotion of pool safety.

Essential Functions:

Consistently embodies a "play well with others" demeanor; always maintains a positive "can-do" attitude and constantly demonstrates a pro-active, team-centered approach.

Oversees and participates in the daily operation of swimming pool activities and events including the supervision of pool servers, bartenders, and scheduling rotations.

Initiate cleaning and daily maintenance of the pool and cleanliness of restaurant, furnishings, and workstations including set up, tear-down, resupplying towels and chair covers, maintenance repair and adjustments.

Maintains knowledge of, abides by, and enforces Colorado Liquor laws.

Monitor food quality and service level.

Assists with ordering, organizing and inventory control of all products.

Is responsible for collecting the daily revenues for the pools and monitors guest and member attendance.

Coordinates and prepares clean up and maintenance of the aquatic facility, in weather situations like during storms, and performs various duties related to aquatic activities.

Responds proactively to staff and guest concerns.

Available to work various hours and shifts dictated by needs of the operation, including holidays (Fourth of July required)

Communicates with other coworkers regarding weather and lighting policies.

Keeping team morale; being a motivated leader with clear communication skills.

The aquatic supervisors will be in a front of the house situation, and will oversee who enters the pool, and the rules of the Three Graces, Infinity, and Recreation Pool.

Conveying these rules daily to enforce the pool rules, to remain consistent. Supervisor must know the laws, membership rules and regulations, and guest fees/passes.

Actively assists and proactively engages with all duties required for operations, ensuring that all food and beverage orders are delivered correctly and promptly.

Assists in establishing and maintaining a "Standard of Excellence" for the Resort and Club's Recreation Center and Three Graces Pools and Teen Room programs/facilities.

Be prepared to speak to the offerings of the entire Resort and Spa including services offered and hours of operation.

Deliver "GGRC Hospitality" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.

Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome all guests to facility with your hand over heart and check all guests in.

Upkeeping the quality of work that coworkers are providing, both esthetically and professionally.

Assist guests to seats, help guests with umbrellas and always anticipate the guests needs.

Setting up pools with pool chair covers and rolled towels. Replacing pool chair covers and towels once each member and guest officially leaves.

Helping with events held at the pools.

Being available during Holidays. (! Fourth of July)
