This position is expected to be filled in a work location that is within the states of Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Texas.

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a dedicated team of experts delivering high quality results through program and project management of large, strategic initiatives that are cross-functional and high risk/high impact to the organization. We are facilitators and motivators, working across departments to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects. We are also accountable for ensuring adherence to established processes, policies, and governance requirements, while maintaining fiscal responsibility to our portfolio management. We provide training and coaching on our project methodologies and procedures.
The Project Manager is an integral part of the EPMO, and will successfully and consistently plan, execute, monitor, and deliver impactful and strategically aligned projects at Helmerich & Payne. The Project Manager partners with all H&P teams to determine strategic direction and communicate that to all key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager must work effectively in collaboration with all functional groups and project stakeholders within H&P, including vendors and consultants to ensure that all project requirements are met as agreed to in both the project plan and the contract. The Project Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships as well as coaching and guiding the project execution team.
What you will do:
Work as a Project Manager with International and North American Solutions Operations to ensure strategic growth projects are managed effectively.
Organize, manage, and implement projects by achieving objectives through key results.
Ensure project objectives align to overall strategic company objectives.
Manage multiple large-scale projects across various portfolios successfully & simultaneously on a consistent basis.
Develop and manage the overall financials for projects.
Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for projects.
Analyze and control project expenses carefully through entire project lifecycle – Resource Planning, Cost Estimation, Budgeting, Cost Control.
Provide monthly progress reports and financial updates on assigned projects.
Review and approve vendor invoices for payment & manage vendor deliverables working with Supply Chain.
Conduct risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
Facilitate project meetings and document progress and outcomes.
Support both Waterfall and Scrum methodology in project delivery.
Use and/or administration of Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Act as a liaison between vendors, consultants, project team and business partners.
Communicate and collaborate with project team to provide training and information required to support implementation and support of systems.
Ensure project complies with any applicable federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

What you need:
At least 7-10 years of Project Management experience.
Ability to travel domestically (US) and internationally. Travel will vary, but domestic travel could be as often as monthly and international travel could be as often as quarterly.

Skilled in meeting facilitation & presentations with complex, cross functional and distributed teams.
Not a must, but a plus:
PMP, and/or comparable project management certification.
Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Business or Petroleum Engineering.
Experience managing large cross-functional teams.
Experience managing international business projects and/or business operations strategic projects.
