JOBSUMMARY
MathesonASU Engineering is actively seeking an energetic and knowledgeable individualto fill the Electrical Engineer position in our Irving, Texasoffice. The successful candidate will lead the electrical engineering designof large scale 480V to 15kV power systems. Duties include the development ofstandard professional electrical engineering design deliverables includingperforming engineering calculations, engineered drawings and documents,equipment specification, construction support, functional checkout support,and system commissioning support. This is a senior level position thatrequires the ability to work independently without supervision with a highlevel of accountability.
EssentialFunctions
Essential Function
· Perform load calculations, circuit and conductor sizing calculations,protective device coordination studies, arc flash calculations, etc.
· Complete power distribution plan designs, single-line drawings,grounding plans, panel schedules, cable schedules, cable tray layouts,lighting plans, control narratives, control schematics, interconnectdiagrams, heat trace drawings, etc.
· Develop equipment data sheets, bill of materials, single line diagramsetc.
· Cost and schedule estimating and RFQ development, review and approval.
· Lead equipment installation quality assurance inspections.
· Assist with marketing and business development of Company services.
· Additional duties as assigned, i.e. factory acceptance testing, vendorqualification audits.
