Job Responsibilities
The delivery manager is responsible for the delivery management and improvement of IT services in his/her area of technical domain to support the business and meet user needs, using a set of well-defined best practices. He/she standardizes the change process and communicates to business partners accordingly.
- Liaise with vendors and govern technically the deliverables as per agreed SLAs/KPIs. Monitoring for supplier service performance.
- Ensure Service Quality with proper governance for all vendors
- Run service improvements as part of service quality initiatives
- Accurate monitoring and quality assurance of the CMBD
- Assess Network level changes and provide approval as needed for execution
- Risk tracking and mitigation
- Assist Vendors in technical troubleshooting during critical situations (Major Incidents or Critical Change planning / execution)

- Service Quality and Service Governance
- Service Reviews and Service Improvements
- Technical Governance
Skills Required
- Excellent understanding of Network Architecture & Operations
- High customer orientation
- Can assess Network changes with regards to correctness and completeness
- Knows methods ensuring quality
- Knows the methods and concepts to ensure operation even if one of the components fails
- Experience in process analysis and process optimization
- Experience with operational processes according to ITIL
- Experience in the moderation and conflict resolution of heterogeneous, partly interdisciplinary groups
- High methodological competence in particular good knowledge and experience in project management
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills for structuring complex issues
- Strong self-initiative and independence
- Expertise in using business consulting methods, tools and standards, and can apply them independently
- Is capable to transfer best practices, experiences and knowledge to others
- Communicates clearly, precisely, convincingly and appropriately to the situation
Sovereignty in dealing with stakeholders in an intercultural project environment
