Description Our client is expanding their New York office and is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager to lead their marketing activity in North America. This is a new role and requires gravitas to work in conjunction with sales to deliver impactful marketing activity.
Working closely with the global marketing team you will be responsible for:
Creating and implementing marketing strategy for North America across institutional and wholesale channels to drive sales growth
Collaborate with the Relationship Group to develop and review sales material to ensure it is compelling and consistent with agreed positioning
Monitor and report on North America’s competitor landscape, creating actionable insights on competitors and how to differentiate the firm’s funds
Responsible for the North America marketing budget, including its creation and oversight
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive marketing experience within the investment management industry, including responsibility for strategy and budgets
Excellentcommunication skills are essential, as well as a keen eye for detail and good planningand delivery capability.
Comfortablecommunicating with senior management and people from all areas within thefirm.
Relationship-builderboth internally and externally.
Strong knowledge of the US (and wider Americas) regulatory environment
Knowledge of the full marketing mix: brand management, digital marketing, investment marketing and social media.
