Location : Annapolis, MD

Work Model : Hybrid (2 Days From Home and 3 Days in Office)

Schedule : Monday – Friday

Shift : 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate : $18 – 22/HR *Depending on Experience*

Position Summary: As a Patient Account Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely reimbursement for medical services. You’ll collaborate with major commercial insurance companies, follow up on claim denials, and communicate effectively with patients regarding their accounts and billing information.

Responsibilities:

+ Claim Resolution: Investigate and resolve claim denials, ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursement.

+ Patient Communication: Engage with patients to address billing inquiries, explain insurance coverage, and provide exceptional customer service.

+ EMR Experience: Proficiency with EMR systems (such as EPIC, Athena, or ECW) is essential for efficient record management.
